Fernando Lopez 

Fernando Lopez is a migrant from Michoacan, Mexico (Mazahua territories). As a self-taught New Orleans-based artist, photographer and organizer. He focuses on the power of narratives and story telling to drive organizing, art, and community building. Fernando is passionate about documenting Black and Brown Life in the Gulf South. Through his eyes, he hopes to help audiences feel the images he produces and the sentiments captured across the ups and downs in the lives of marginalized communities.
