Mercedes Acosta of the Taino

Mercedes Acosta is a comic artist and writer and a member of the Taino Nation. They work with watercolor, ink, and pencil to provide enriching stories full of representation to young readers. They have been interested in art since a very young age. Their graphic novel, CABARET MACABRE, is coming out with Dial Books for Young Readers in 2023.
